We have been ‘bowled over’ with sadness, as we bid a fond farewell to hardworking Sales Executive, Heather Ryder

We never like to say goodbye at Peveril Homes but sadly, that is exactly what we have had to do – as we recently wished all the best to our hugely popular departing Sales Executive, Heather Ryder.

An employee of the company for 5 years, Heather worked in the same role throughout her time with us – fulfilling the position of Sales Executive for our Phoenix Place development in Sutton-in-Ashfield. Heather provided 5-star service to all our customers at Phoenix, making the process of moving into a Peveril home as smooth as possible for buyers.

To give Heather a proper send off, the team recently hit the lanes and enjoyed an evening of food, drink and bowling. There were a few tears, lots of hugs and plenty of laughs as we said goodbye to a highly valued member of the team.

Leaving Peveril Homes for pastures new was not an easy decision for Heather, but it was one that she made because herself and her husband were keen to relocate – making the big decision to uplift and move to the beautiful setting of Newquay, Cornwall.

Despite saying goodbye, Heather will always look back on her 5 years with Peveril very fondly and has been full of praise for the company – “Peveril appreciates individual attributes and abilities and the company is always open to advice and input from its team members. You are not treated as ‘just another brick in the wall’!” said Heather.

She added “Employees are always equipped with the right tools for the job, trained to the right level and given the chance to play to their own strengths. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with Peveril and I would like to thank everyone at the company for five very memorable years”.

Our Director of Sales and Marketing, Alison Kendall, said “Heather will be missed by everyone at Peveril – she was a star during her time here and highly regarded by all the staff. We wish her all the best in her future endeavours”.

Heather has decided to take time away from work for a couple of months and enjoy her new surroundings before embarking on her next career move.

From everyone at Peveril Homes, we wish Heather and her family all the very best for the future and years of happiness in their new home!
