Successful ‘Help to Buy’ event

Peveril Homes’ Valley View development in Sileby, Leicestershire, is currently experiencing a surge of interest in its remaining 4- and 5-bed detached new homes, thanks to a successful ‘Help to Buy’ event which took place at the site over the weekend.

 

Despite a very ‘soggy Saturday’ but thankfully a ‘sunny Sunday’, interested couples and families came along to the event to hear just how the ‘Help to Buy’ scheme could enable them to ‘upgrade’ to one of Peveril’s beautifully-designed, spacious new homes.

 

“I think a lot of people are under the misconception that Help to Buy is for first-time buyers only,” says Alison Kendall,Peveril Homes’ Sales and Marketing Director. “But we wanted to highlight that it’s a scheme which is also ideal for those looking to move up the ladder into a more spacious new home.”

Alison continues, “With only a 5% deposit, Help to Buy can enable buyers to expand into a larger home, while keeping monthly mortgage repayments relatively low, which is obviously hugely appealing to most buyers – particularly families. This weekend’s event gave us the chance to clarify the details and highlight the benefits of the scheme to many potential customers.”

 

With only five 4- and 5-bed homes remaining on this much-visited development in this popular Leicestershire village – including the property currently being used as the marketing suite – the Peveril Homes team were pleased with the positive responses from all those who came along at the weekend.

 

“The event was also a great opportunity to talk to people about our MovePlus Assisted Purchase option,” adds Alison. “This allows customers to reserve their chosen Peveril home for up to six weeks, while nominated estate agents actively market their existing house for sale in the East Midlands. Once their home has a confirmed buyer, we too will confirm their reservation on their Peveril home. If after six weeks they are unsuccessful in achieving their completed chain, we give a full refund of their reservation fee. It’s a great way of getting buyers moving with the minimum of fuss.”
