Family Upsize For a Fresh Start with Peveril Homes

Peveril provides modern, luxury homes in many areas. With years of traditional house building experience.

Mr & Mrs Barker – Plot 83 Smalley Manor

A family of four upsized to their ‘forever home’ on the Smalley Manor development.

Smalley Manor, situated in the heart of Derbyshire’s Amber Valley, with open countryside and a wide range of local amenities on its doorstep, welcomes one of it’s newest families…

Lee and Kelly Barker with their two children, have enjoyed a seamless experience whilst purchasing their dream Peveril home. Following recovery from a period of ill-health, Kelly and her husband Lee decided to move closer to her parents to make a fresh start, and settled on the picturesque village of Smalley.

An excellent nearby secondary school was a main priority for the Barkers. The couple quickly realised that the Smalley Manor development perfectly balances country and suburban living, with many great amenities nearby, as well as beautiful surroundings.

Smalley Manor’s collection of stunning homes is one of the most popular in the Peveril Homes’ development portfolio. Each of the house exteriors are in-keeping with the fabric of the local area with eye-catching design features and high-quality, traditional masonry.

The family of four were already familiar with the local neighbourhood as Kelly grew up in the area. Kelly’s parents introduced them to Peveril Homes, expressing an admiration of the house styles and serene location, so the couple decided to explore their options on the development.

Lee and Kelly said: “We went to view the development and we fell in love with the area. We called and spoke to the Sales Executive who then showed us around the gorgeous Darley show home.”

The development boasts peaceful countryside walks and luscious views as far as the eye can see. Lee commented on their experience: “The whole process went really smoothly. The level of customer service was brilliant and Smalley Manor’s Sales Executive, Sharon, was very knowledgeable and made us feel so comfortable. It sounds too good to be true, but it really has been a perfect move."

At Peveril Homes, we understand exactly what a huge step buying a new home is. Your home is a key financial investment, so it should be just right for you and your family. In the case of Lee and Kelly, their new Peveril home is a haven from life’s ups and downs and a place that will adapt to the needs of their growing family.

The Barker family took advantage of the MovePlus Assisted Purchase Scheme, where Peveril Homes make all the arrangements to get purchasers moving – including covering the estate agent’s fees. Peveril Homes helped the family to sell their previous home whilst they reserved their brand-new Hazlemere on Smalley Manor. This meant that Lee, Kelly, and their children could begin to look forward to customising their home with a selection of high-end fixtures and fittings.

The couple added: “It was so refreshing that the Peveril Homes team were only too happy to help with any advice we needed. Our Sales Executive, Sharon, has become a friend throughout the whole process of purchasing our dream home. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was as stress free as possible. Karina from Peveril Homes was also fantastic, answering any questions we had in relation to our MovePlus Assisted Purchase.”

At Peveril Homes, we pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service and aftercare. Our team help to make the whole buying experience as harmonious as possible, which reflects what life in a Peveril home will be. This means that our purchasers can relax with peace of mind that their new home will be constructed to the highest specification and standards.

Lee and Kelly are so happy with their home: “We’d definitely recommend Peveril Homes to our family and friends because our Hazlemere is just amazing. Peveril Homes truly takes pride in its developments, and this is reflected in the build quality and design”.
