Meet our MD James Smith
Our new Managing Director, James has developed his career at Peveril Homes for 23 years. Most recently promoted from Land Director, he states his immediate priority is the acquisition of new land across the Midlands.
James commented, “I will ensure we continue to create beautiful quality homes for residents to build a life in. I am extremely excited to be taking the business forward for the foreseeable future. There have been many highlights during my Peveril Homes’ career, but the most prominent one for me is the fantastic team I work with.

James progressed through his career at Peveril Homes having left Nottingham Trent University in 1997 where he studied Urban Estate Surveying, then joining Peveril Homes as Assistant Land Buyer. From there, his career went from strength to strength. James was quickly promoted first to Land Buyer and then Land Manager. Following the departure of the Land and Sales Director 10 years ago, James was given the opportunity to become the Land Director, working alongside former director, Colin Wright.
We've also now released our first properties for sale at our latest development, Flagshaw Pastures in Kirk Langley, with further developments to follow suit in the coming months.
