Jane gets creative at Christmas!

We just had to share these gorgeous gifts created by our talented administration assistant, Jane Humphries!

Jane, her sister and her mum have knitted over 40 of these lovely elves, snowmen, Santas, Christmas puddings and robins in order to raise money for Breast Cancer UK. The defective gene for breast cancer runs in Jane’s family and her two younger sisters have both been affected by the disease in the past, but are now thankfully in remission.

Each of these gifts hide a chocolate orange inside, and have been snapped up by the staff and their families at Peveril Homes head office!

“I underestimated how popular they’d be!” said Jane, who’s been selling them for between £3 and £6. “I’ve managed to recruit some more knitting volunteers here in the Peveril office, so our next plan is to create some chicks and bunnies for Easter!”

Well done Jane for getting creative for such a fantastic cause!
