We are pleased to announce that plans have been approved for a proposed new development on the site formerly occupied by lathe manufacturer Myford Ltd – on Chilwell Road in Beeston, Nottingham.
The plans, which were approved by local authorities in February this year, propose 15 modern apartments and 32 stylish townhouses. The apartments consist of six 1-bed and nine 2-bed styles situated at the front of the development, and all apartments have access to off-road parking to the rear – exclusively for apartment owners.
As well as the 15 apartments, the plans also outline 32 townhouses in four different styles – including a mix of 1, 2 and 3-bed homes.
The location on Chilwell Road is just a short 5-minute walk from Beeston town centre and situated adjacent to the tram lines – as well as being in close proximity to other major public transport links to Nottingham and surrounding areas via bus and train. Beeston is also a short drive from the M1 and A52 – offering quick transport links to Derby, East Midlands Airport and Nottingham.
Director James Smith, is proud that Peveril Homes is involved in the rejuvenation of the site and sees the potential of this development as an exciting new direction for the company. “This development will be a very different style and completely unique when compared to our other developments, whilst retaining the quality and craftsmanship synonymous with Peveril Homes”.
“Beeston is already a thriving area and an attractive location – so this mix of apartments and townhouses will be perfect for people keen to live in such a vibrant Nottingham suburb and a great way to revitalise a site with huge potential” added James.
