We were recently invited to Buckingham Palace for a ‘right royal appointment’ to celebrate the 100th birthday of The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA).
The event took the form of a royal tea party in the grounds of Buckingham Palace on the 25th May 2017. Both Aileen Ennis, and Carol Marriott from Peveril Homes, took the train to the capital to attend the event to celebrate the great work carried out by RoSPA, its partners and a special selection of award-winning businesses from a variety of industries.
Earlier in 2017, we were awarded the prestigious President’s Award in the 61st anniversary year of the internationally-acclaimed Health and Safety Awards – aimed at recognising health and safety excellence across a variety of industries.
This is the 12th consecutive year that we have won the award which celebrates ‘an outstanding performance in health and safety at work’ – demonstrating our commitment to ensuring the safety of our employees across all areas of the business. President’s Awards are only presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of RoSPA’s gold level over consecutive years. We will be presented with the award during a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 in this, the centenary year for the family-safety charity RoSPA.
Both Carol and Aileen thoroughly enjoyed their day at the Palace and we would like to extend a special thank you to RoSPA for their invitation to what was a highly regarded and very enjoyable day in celebration of this landmark year.
