We’re celebrating following the announcement that site manager Mark Mann has won the LABC Warranty Regional Site Manager of the Year award for the West Midlands. And he’s in good company as his colleague Adam Pinder recently picked up the same award for the East Midlands.
The LABC West Midlands Building Excellence Awards took place at the International Conference Centre in Telford this month, where construction professionals from the fields of architecture, building and design, along with local authority building control surveyors gathered for an evening to celebrate the best of the best. The Site Manager Award recognises the outstanding contributions of site managers working on LABC Warranty sites for their vision for quality in construction.
Mark – who first began working for Peveril Homes in 2003 – picked up his award for his outstanding work on our popular Heritage Park development in Tutbury, Staffordshire, and he couldn’t be more pleased about joining his East Midlands colleague, Adam Pinder, in achieving this accolade for the company.
“It’s part of our culture to always strive to achieve the highest quality in every task we undertake, no matter what our role within the business – it’s just the Peveril way,” says Mark. “So to be recognised as the best site manager in the West Midlands by LABC Warranty feels hugely rewarding. For me, it’s testament to how the whole team operates at Peveril – particularly as Adam won the same award in the East Midlands – and I feel greatly honoured on behalf of the company.”
With over 3000 eligible site managers, Mike Swatton, LABC Warranty Business Development Director and Head Judge, highlighted Mark’s exceptional achievement, commenting that the standard of qualifiers across the board was ‘raising the bar for construction standards.’
Mark will now join Adam in the Grand Finals in November to compete for the National Site Manager of the Year award – a title that Adam won last year!
“Yes, it will be Peveril against Peveril in the finals this year, but that’s something we really don’t mind!” adds Construction Director, Colin Wright. “Both Mark and Adam are excellent site managers and we know that they’ll be extremely supportive of each other. As a team, we couldn’t be more proud of them.”
