Codnor is nestled in the heart of Derbyshire and despite its 
rural location, the village is still within close range of exciting 
things to do.
 Codnor’s position within the Amber Valley makes it easy to enjoy outdoor walks in the local countryside, and Codnor village boasts several traditional country pubs to stop at during a leisurely ramble. The neighbouring town of Ripley is steeped in tradition and industry, offering a selection of cafes, independent shops, and restaurants to suit all tastes.

Local Amenities

A former mining community, Codnor has been a major cross road for over a thousand years and roads meet from the towns of Ripley, Alfreton, Langley Mill and Heanor.
For those who enjoy the great outdoors, Shipley Country Park is a mere 3.5 miles from Holborn Place and home to 700 acres of attractive and varied landscape.

There are a number of local amenities in Codnor and Ripley including a large Sainsbury’s supermarket, pubs, cafes and takeaways appealing to a range of lifestyles.
