Holborn Place residents’ get together supported by Peveril Homes!

At Peveril Homes, we love to keep in touch with our purchasers long after they settle in – so when we heard that some of our newest Holborn Place residents were having a get together, we thought we would donate some food and beverages to help with the celebrations!

Our commitment to all of our purchasers continues for two years after legal completion to ensure their new home is one they continue to be proud of – but we don’t stop there. Our team is always happy to go the extra mile to ensure all of our buyers enjoy life on their new development.

We love nothing more than seeing purchasers building their own communities on our developments and 35 residents at Holborn Place in Codnor, Ripley, recently organised an American Supper event to bring the community together.

When Julie, our Sales Executive at Holborn Place saw the event on Facebook and heard about it from her customers, she thought it would be a nice gesture to make a donation to the American-themed party!

“I’ve watched the Holborn community grow over recent months and it’s lovely to see everybody getting on so well,” explains Julie.

“I regularly keep in touch with the residents to see how they’re getting on. When I heard that they were planning a get together, I thought they might appreciate a little gift from Peveril to help the celebrations along – so we decided to donate some food and drink to the party to set them on their way.”

Leanna Bannister, the event organiser, saw the American Supper idea as a great way to get the local community together and took inspiration from her childhood holidays.

“I used to go on a lot of camping rallies as a child and the American suppers were always a crowd pleaser. When I saw that one of the residents had started a Holborn Place Facebook group, I had to suggest it!”

She continues, “Some residents have recently moved into their homes at Holborn and we thought it would be a fantastic way to get to know each other and give the children a chance to play and enjoy themselves. From nachos and hotdogs to nuggets and pizza, everyone came together to put on a huge selection of food,”

“We had a great night – and it was made even better when Julie delivered a generous selection of food and drinks on behalf of Peveril Homes,”

“On behalf of everybody that attended, I would like to say a big thank you to the team at Peveril for their donation. Not many developers would do something like that and it just proves that Peveril really do go the extra mile to make life enjoyable for their purchasers.”
