We’re delighted to introduce our new Customer Service Manager, Dave Lakin!
Dave has worked in the construction industry for almost three decades, before recently joining Peveril Homes as our Customer Service Manager. For the last fifteen years, he was employed as a Site Manager, where he has gained a wealth of hands-on experience that he is looking forward to bringing to his new position.
Dave’s role ensures our purchasers are always well looked after, he says: “I always strive to help in any way I can, and my knowledge of the housebuilding sector allows me to put our purchaser’s minds at rest, even when their warranties have come to an end.
“The honest, ‘above and beyond’ ethos that I share with Peveril Homes has meant that I have settled really well and already feel as though I have known my team for many years.”
Dave is most impressed with Peveril Homes’ family-orientated approach to customer service and how we are extremely proud of what we do. He said: “There is a fantastic welcoming atmosphere that truly supports a great work-life balance.
“Since starting my new role I have very much enjoyed taking the time to get to know our purchasers and putting faces to their names, which I haven’t had the chance to do previously in my career.”
Dave genuinely endeavours to exceed expectations each day, and this has been mirrored in the superb feedback we have received from our purchasers. We are so pleased that he has settled into his new role, and is very quickly building upon the comprehensive aftercare experience that we provide for our purchasers.
Dave has succeeded Derek Batey, our former Customer Care Manager, whose natural focus and attention to customer service has left a lasting legacy.
Dave said: “Just because our purchasers have completed on the purchase of their homes doesn’t mean that Peveril Homes’ customer service comes to an end too, we will be at the other end of the phone for as long as we are needed.
“This is the unique Peveril way and I am proud to be part of it.”
