A Double Award Win - Best Site Manager and New Development

We are so proud to receive two prestigious accolades from the renowned Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence - People and Place Awards. Achieving gold in two categories, including: Best Residential Site Manager and Best High Volume New Housing Development.

With over 30 years’ experience, we take great pride in understanding the needs of our purchasers and always aim to exceed their expectations. We always work to the high LABC standard and are delighted to have received awards for both our People and our Places.

Michael Dunn, an accomplished and experienced Site Manager, was in receipt of the ‘Best Residential Site Manager’ regional award. On hearing the news of his win, Michael said: “I am privileged to have won this award. I work extremely hard to create a realistic programme that allows my team to build to the highest quality for Peveril Homes’ purchasers. I believe in creating people’s dreams and completely believe that ‘high-quality’ is not a customer option, it is standard.

“I want to make sure that everyone has a blissful experience of Peveril Homes, not only purchasers but also the surrounding community.”

Paul Brennan, our Production Manager also explained why Michael deserves his LABC award: “Michael’s forward-planning skills are exemplary, and he checks progress on a daily basis to ensure our home-building programmes are being delivered on time and to plan.”

Michael tells us his main driving force is knowing that he has done a good job and this is evidenced in many Customer Feedback Forms, for example: “The Site Manager, Mick has been fantastic”, “We have a beautiful home that was finished to the highest standard, we couldn’t be happier” and “the people I’ve dealt with have been amazing, especially Mick”.

At Peveril Homes, we are also delighted to have received an LABC award in the ‘Best High Volume New Housing Development’ category, for the beautiful Woodcroft development in Moira, Swadlincote.

Paul commented: “Whenever we visit our Woodcroft development, we feel extremely proud of what our team has achieved. Speaking to our residents they tell us how much they love living here. They openly praise us for the design, workmanship, and finish of their homes along with the thought put into the overall layout of the development. The Local Authority Building Control (LABC) is one of the largest providers of structural warranties in England and Wales, with a combined team of more than 3,700 surveyors. The LABC works with the team at Peveril Homes to score standards of workmanship and overall management of sites.
