Congratulations to Swanwick Primary School’s colouring competition winners!

We’re delighted to announce the winners of our colouring competition, which was launched in celebration of our new development, Lily Street Farm in Derbyshire.

Pupils from Swanwick Primary School were invited to enter our colouring competition and have been busy practising their creativity in designing butterfly, bee and beetle hotels.

Each of the School’s 10 classes participated in the competition, and the children filled in sections of the colouring sheet with different textures and drawings of stones, bark, leaves and pinecones to give garden bugs a cosy home!

Nature is at the heart of Lily Street Farm, which inspired our choice of bug, bee and beetle hotels as the design for our colouring competition. Careful architectural design and large open green spaces coupled with local ponds and extensive greenways create a haven for wildlife at the development.

We were thrilled to see so many fantastic contributions from the pupils, with each entry featuring a variety of different colours and patterns.

The judges were really impressed by the entries and struggled to narrow down the designs, so two from each class were chosen. The children were presented with a prize during a whole school assembly where they were awarded a 75-piece stationery set, including quality colouring pencils and gel pens which they will use to develop their artistic flairs!
