Design and Character Helps To Make Second Time Peveril Purchase An Easy Decision
“High impact design” and “a development with character” make second time Peveril purchase an easy decision
Many factors define why purchasers fall in love with a home and development. Maybe it’s the locality to schools, work and family, or it could be the design of a property or the feel of the surrounding area.
Dom Geoghegan and his family made the move into their second successive Peveril home just as the country was in the tight grip of the UK’s first lockdown. Having lived on Peveril Homes’ Heritage Park development for four years, the family were so in love with everything around them that it was simply a case of moving to the other end of the street.
Dom said: “Heritage Park has been a dream location for us for four years so when we decided that the time had come to move again, we literally looked no further than a few doors down!
“The show home was available and we simply fell in love with it. It epitomized our dream home and everything we were looking for, so the opportunity to turn that dream into reality was just too good for us to ignore.”
Having enjoyed the luxuries of a new-build development in a rural area, close to crucial amenities as well as the local school, Heritage Park is a development that offers the family all the features they could need.
An additional necessity that was high on the list was somewhere that felt open and free for the family to grow and live their lives to the fullest, another tick for Heritage Park.
Dom explained: “The character and open, spacious layout of Heritage Park is hard to replace. It isn’t jam packed - it’s attractive and presents a great first impression which then follows through into the interiors of the homes, the specifications and the build quality.
“The space between properties is unlike anywhere else we’ve seen and the layout inside the homes is perfect. We saw the visuals online as part of the early marketing around the development and they showcased the high impact design of Heritage Park. That’s what made us first move here four years ago. It’s a development with character and funnily enough, my sister purchased a property here in the early days of the site which gave us a great reference point when asking questions and getting a feel for it as a potential place to call home.”
As for Dom’s purchase experience with the show home, it was certainly different this time around with the impacts of coronavirus taking effect. However, he was full of praise for Sales Executive Sharon Thorp - with her continued dedication and hard work ensuring that the sale went through as smoothly as possible.
Dom added: “We used both Help to Buy and Peveril’s MovePlus Assisted Purchase scheme to make moving affordable, accessible and straightforward. Sharon has been our long-standing neighbour at Heritage Park and she is brilliant! She’s clear about what’s happening, what options are available and she’s incredibly supportive. We were able to depend on her and she offered a superb personal service.
“Her tenacity on our behalf was amazing - keeping the wheels moving and ensuring that we secured our dream home with minimal fuss. We were made to feel special at every stage and that’s precisely what you want when buying a home. We found the moving in pack to be a particularly lovely touch.
“All in all, we’re very happy and we owe a lot to Peveril for making the process so smooth and simple - allowing us to realise our dream of having a perfect home in a stunning location!”
