Family find their forever home thanks to Peveril Homes’ MovePlus Assist scheme
We followed Sophie Langstaff, her husband Jordan, after their three children and dog, happily moved into their new Peveril home at Woodcroft in Moira.
Found within the delightful surroundings of the National Forest, Woodcroft is a stunning, award-winning development of uniquely designed homes that combine traditional materials and outstanding craftsmanship.
Boasting interiors that combine modern aesthetics with a practical design, Peveril Homes’ 4-bedroom Hulland style focuses on space and functionality at every turn.
This perfect family home with double garage features a full length lounge and open kitchen diner with a utility room. Heading further into the home, there are four double bedrooms with a well-appointed en-suite to the master bedroom as well as a contemporary family bathroom.
The Langstaff family were instantly drawn to the spacious family home.
Sophie said, “We weren’t particularly looking for a new build property, but the land and spacious layout of the home really drew us in. We had noticed that new build homes don’t typically have that much space and so we were amazed at the development.
“Our garden is humongous and with three children plus a Rottweiler that was a big deciding factor for us as a family, however it was the kitchen that sold it to me.”
With a high standard of specification, Sophie’s new home has a range of quality finishes from a professionally designed contemporary fitted kitchen with soft close doors and drawers to integrated appliances such as an AEG built in double fan oven and gas burner hob, Zanussi fully integrated fridge/freezer and 13 place dishwasher.
Sophie added, “It’s so big and has an island in the middle. Our kitchen is our social hub and even though we can’t do normal things right now, we’re the ones to host Sunday dinner and have friends round. The design of the kitchen makes it so inclusive and there’s room for lots of people without being on top of each other, which can often happen with children running around.”
It wasn’t simply Peveril Homes’ quality design that impressed the Langstaff family, they we’re also grateful for the smoothly managed MovePlus Assist scheme.
Sophie explained, “With the MovePlus scheme we had six weeks to sell our existing home with the help of Peveril’s estate agents, and we had the peace of mind of being able to reserve the house we wanted.
“We ended up having a really close call as we sold on deadline, and we couldn’t fault Peveril Homes’ for the support they gave us.
“All through the process I worked with Karina who regularly phoned me. When she found out we were struggling to sell the home she moved our estate agents, managing the whole thing so we didn’t need to worry.”
The complete customer care provided by Peveril Homes was more than Sophie and the family could have imagined that they would need.
Sophie commented, “Karina delivered 100% for us, nothing was too much to sort and no question was a bother to her.
“Eileen our Sales Executive was also amazing, she was so lovely and helpful. If we wanted to come to the house to measure up for anything she would meet us and make sure we were all sorted.”
The additional support that the Peveril team went to really stood out for Sophie and Jordan.
When faced with issues selling their existing home, Sophie explained, “The young buyers were unsure and had a lot of questions. Sue and Hazel from Peveril Homes helped the buyers of our existing property through the sale, even though it wasn’t part of their job. That really meant so much to us and showed that they cared about our situation enough that they stepped in to support the wider chain.”
The Langstaff family are now happily settled into their spacious family home.
Sophie added, “I would 100% recommend Peveril Homes to others, without any questions.”
