Busy mum of four, Natalie, recently moved into her new home at the Smalley Manor development. It’s the third property she has purchased from Peveril Homes, and here she tells us why…
Natalie Garwood has been a Peveril Homes resident since she made her very first step onto the property ladder in 1998, buying a 3-bedroom detached home at Sovereign Fields in Heanor.
Natalie explains, “I had just finished university and made a move back to my home area after securing a job in Nottingham. I visited Sovereign Fields and immediately loved the development; there was a play park across the road and such a wonderful, neighbourly feel to the area.”
Natalie lived in her first Peveril home for eight years, in which time she was married and welcomed her first two children. As time went by Natalie was keen to find a larger home, with more space for her growing family.
“We were lucky enough to find a fabulous, larger 4-bedroom Peveril property, just around the corner in a lovely cul de sac, where we lived for 15-years and had two more children.”
When some life changes instigated a fresh start for the family, Natalie chatted to a close friend, who had recently purchased a property on the Smalley Manor development in Derbyshire’s Amber Valley Region.
“I went to look at the show home and I was immediately sold! The layout of the property was just ideal for us, and I fell in love with it instantly!”

“The development is very well thought out; it has a spacious feel and the distance between the plots means we are not overlooked. Plus, the house itself offers great space; ideal for the children as they grow and also helpful for when I have to work from home.”
Natalie and her children enjoyed a smooth transition into their new home, and Sales Executive Marie was on hand to answer any questions or help when needed.
“Marie was so helpful and supportive from start to finish; quick at replying to any enquiries I had and on top of any requests or snagging questions. We were shown around, given a great demo, went through all appliance warranties, and received a lovely Welcome Pack. The process overall was exceptionally smooth.
“I do miss my neighbours and the memories of the old house, but this house is amazing, and we have definitely made the right choice to buy our third Peveril home at Smalley Manor.”
