Newlyweds say ‘I Do’ to their first home

Mr and Mrs Kumar have settled into their charming three-bedroom home after moving in together just two weeks after their wedding.

First time buyers, Aaron Kumar and his wife Simran, are thrilled with their charming new home.

Nestled within our Chamberlain Place development, which is located in the idyllic village of Measham, the Kumars are enjoying blissful married life whilst planning how to decorate each room.

The couple are the first in their friendship group to buy a house and so they are very much looking forward to inviting friends and family over to show off their beautiful home.

Aaron said: “We were first time buyers so we looked to the Sales Executive, Layla, for guidance on the purchasing process. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and answered any queries we had.

“We can’t thank Layla enough for her support in choosing which home would suit us best, after viewing the show home and seeing what the Lichfield house-style had to offer, we immediately put down a deposit.”

For Mr and Mrs Kumar, an ensuite was an essential feature when searching for their perfect home. The Lichfield came within the couple’s budget as well as suiting their needs completely. Aaron commented: “After moving into our new home, we have been so happy with the well-considered layout and spacious rooms, we can’t wait to start decorating!”

Aaron and Simran reserved their home before construction had commenced, so had the opportunity to completely personalise their home with an extensive selection of tiles, flooring and much more. Starting with the kitchen, they picked a beautiful granite worktop with sleek off-white cupboards.

Aaron said: “We were particularly impressed with the choice and quality of fixtures and fittings, even down to the selection of cupboard handles available.

“We even requested an extra socket to be installed under the sink as we planned to fit a hot water tap. Our home is completely tailored to our needs which sets Peveril Homes apart from other housebuilders. We are incredibly happy.”

On his whole experience, Aaron commented: “The entire buying journey was incredibly smooth, with no hiccups at all! All our friends are yet to buy their first houses so we have highly recommended Peveril Homes. Every moment has been enjoyable, from reservation to move-in day.”

Aaron and Simran are originally from Leicester and Birmingham, respectively, so the quaint village of Measham has been a novelty for the newlyweds. The location also has excellent connections, with the M42 and A511 providing easy access to their hometowns.

Aaron said: “It was important for us to live somewhere halfway between our families and friends so Measham appealed to both of us. The location also means we can visit Ashby-de-la-Zouch for an excellent selection of amenities, while being able to enjoy a laid-back village life.

“We absolutely love Chamberlain Place because of its calm and serene setting. There are only 26 homes, giving it character, which really appealed to us.”
