Second award win for Site Manager, Dan Sharp

We are hugely proud that our Site Manager at Forest Heights, Dan Sharp, has been awarded a Regional Site Manager of the Year award from the LABC Building Excellence Awards.

The awards celebrate outstanding projects and individual contributions in the construction industry, and we are thrilled to see Dan’s achievements with Peveril Homes acknowledged with this prestigious accolade.

Site managers play a pivotal role in the success of any development and quite often it’s the professional relationship between them and LABC surveyors that helps to make a site a success.

It is our priority at Peveril Homes to deliver the outstanding quality standard as expected by LABC. Every year LABC recognises site managers who go above and beyond at the LABC Building Excellence Awards. Only a select few site managers are awarded this accolade and for Dan’s achievements to be acknowledged in this way is a fantastic accomplishment.

Dan’s career in the construction industry began 16 years ago as an apprentice bricklayer and concrete foreman. Working his way up to site manager, he joined Peveril Homes as an assistant just 18 months ago and recently accepted the responsibility of managing our Forest Heights development in Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire.

Dan’s proactive approach to site management, safety and exceptional site quality was also recognised by LABC Warranty last year when Dan was awarded a Bricks Site Recognition Award. As an exceptionally knowledgeable and conscientious site manager, his results-driven ambition has delivered his first site project at Forest Heights to an exceptional standard.

Dan commented: “Making the step up to Site Manager from Assistant so quickly is something I’m extremely proud of. My first site was a challenging one and I’m pleased to see the superb quality we’ve produced for our purchasers.”

LABC Surveyor Chris Stanton said: “During my inspections the site is constructed to a very good standard. He has a great working relationship with trades, and they produce excellent quality homes. He has a genuine desire to achieve the best possible house for every plot.”
