Smalley Manor purchaser still delighted with his Peveril home three years on!

On the hunt for a property close to Ilkeston, first-time buyer Brett discovered our Smalley Manor development online and after realising that we offered the Help-to-Buy, he secured a viewing of plot 21.

“I didn’t even know that Help to Buy existed so to find out that Peveril offered it, allowed me to secure a property which would otherwise have been out of my price range,” explains Brett.

He continues “Help-to-Buy is a fantastic scheme – I was thrilled to find out that it was an option for me. The Sales Executive was really helpful in explaining all of my options and how I could get the most for my money.”

With Help-to-Buy, the Government lends up to 20% of the cost of a property – leaving just a 5% cash deposit and a 75% mortgage to make up the rest from the purchaser. There’s also no loan fees to pay on the 20% loan for the first five years of owning the property.

It’s a great feeling to live in an area that is continually improving and be part of such a thriving community”.
