Three Site Managers Win Prestigious Construction Awards
Three site managers from two established developments located in Burton on Trent have each been awarded The Bricks Site Recognition Award by LABC Warranty.
With a combined team of more than 3,700 surveyors, the Local Authority Building Control (LABC) is the largest provider of structural warranties in the UK. They work with house builders and contractors to score standards of workmanship and overall management of sites.
Every month, winners of The Bricks Site Recognition Award are further shortlisted to receive The Bricks annual award trophy. Given to outstanding sites from England and Wales, the LABC award is one of the industry’s most prestigious.
Fairfields Site Manager, Adam Butcher commented on his win: “Communication is key to getting the job done right. Sharing information about successes and potential challenges with my team means we can operate efficiently and co-operatively.
“It’s not just about building properties with the team here, it’s about the people and supporting one another to be the best that we can be.
“I am very proud to have received this recognition for my hard work and what I have achieved in my time with Peveril Homes. The training they have given me is exceptional."
Employed as a Site Manager by Peveril Homes in 2019, Adam has continued to show his commitment to quality standards and a willingness to continually learn.
The site managers at the Forest Heights development were also in receipt of The Bricks Site Recognition Award by LABC Warranty. Chosen for their outstanding contribution to site safety, exceptional build quality, and their proactive approach to site management.
Andy Jackson, Senior Site Manager said on hearing the great news: “I have been working for Peveril Homes for just over 12 weeks so I was over the moon to have been nominated for this national award. It is really nice to have all my hard work over the last few months recognised.
“My time at Peveril Homes has been really enjoyable. The site team at Forest Heights are all very proud of what they do, we are like a family. I am very happy to have been given the opportunity to give something back to Peveril Homes as the training I have received has been invaluable."
Dan Sharp, Site Manager for Forest Heights commented on his win: “When I heard the news that I had won The Bricks Site Recognition Award I was very pleasantly surprised, as it’s a national award I am very proud of this achievement.
“I have been with Peveril Homes for over 7 years now, starting as an assistant and working my way up to Site Manager. I can’t thank Peveril Homes enough for everything they have given me over the years and helping me to complete a HNC in construction.
“It’s lovely to be recognised for all my hard work and for wanting to build the very best houses possible."
Paul Brennan, Production Manager at Peveril Homes said: “Peveril Homes is very proud of the consistent quality and workmanship our site managers and their teams produce.
“Our purchasers deserve the very best quality when choosing their dream home. We are confident that Andy, Adam, and Dan will lead by example and Peveril Homes will continue to provide high standards of construction and site management.
“To have three site managers from the same company win these awards is a great achievement and reflects our ambition. It makes us stand out from other developers – large or small."
Sarah Sheppard, Technical Director at LABC Warranty, said: “It takes skill, commitment and a dedication to quality of construction for a site to receive The Bricks Site Recognition Award.
“Nothing pleases my team and I more than to see developments such as Forest Heights and Fairfields meet and maintain such high standards.”
