The family feel of Peveril Homes has been wonderful and made our move less stressful, we are glad to be here.
For Alan and Christine, moving to Lily Street Farm marked more than just a new home, it was the start of a relaxed, well-earned chapter in retirement.
“We were ready for our final move,” says Alan and Christine. “Our previous home had a huge garden which had become unmanageable, so we were looking to downsize – but not compromise.”
Having owned a Peveril home before, the couple knew exactly where to turn. “We’d experienced first-hand the high standard of build and quality specification that Peveril offers. It was an easy choice to return”.
Fate seemed to play a part in their journey. “When we visited the Marketing Suite and saw Julie, who had helped us purchase our first Peveril home years ago, it just felt right,” says Alan. “After Julie moved on, both Sally and Eileen were so helpful and attentive. We really felt looked after.”
Still based in Swanwick, Alan and Christine were already familiar with the local area. But it was the peaceful setting, thoughtful layout and sense of space at Lily Street Farm that sealed the deal. “It just had a good feel to it,” Christine adds. “The roads are nicely laid out, the homes aren’t crammed in, and it’s lovely to be surrounded by nature. We’re already enjoying watching the birdlife in the trees behind our garden.”
Their new home fits their lifestyle perfectly. “The finish is immaculate, and the fittings are to a very high standard,” Alan says. “The garage is a generous 6m x 3m as standard, something most builders don’t offer unless you pay extra. And best of all, the house was absolutely perfect when it was handed over to us.”
Now settled and enjoying life at Lily Street Farm, Alan and Christine are just as happy to recommend Peveril Homes as they’ve always been. “We’ve recommended Peveril since our first home in Codnor, and we’re so pleased to be living in another.”
