Robert Moore

Going through the house buying process with Peveril Homes has been a really positive experience for us. If there was ever a problem it was dealt with quickly and everything was arranged with minimum fuss keeping the whole process simple and easy.
Robert Moore and his wife made the move to Peveril Homes’ Chamberlain Place development in Measham in June 2020.
Needing a home closer to his in-laws to better help care for their needs, Robert was looking for something in the right location which was available quickly. He found exactly that in Chamberlain Place.
With a dreamy scenic backdrop of Leicestershire’s National Forest, the stylish Grangewood home offers an impressive use of space with a full-length lounge big enough for the Moore’s and their two dogs to relax in. At the heart of the home is the highly specified open plan kitchen diner complete with fully integrated appliances.
Commenting on the layout of his new home, Robert said: “What I especially love is how the lounge and kitchen/diner have windows in three walls which is perfect for filling the home with natural light. Plus, the whole flow of the house is great and the use of space is so much better than our previous home.”
The Moore’s Grangewood house is a 4-bedroom home with a contemporary master bedroom boasting full height, soft close fitted wardrobes and a good-sized en-suite.
Robert added: “Location and availability was of course important to us but what really attracted us to Chamberlain Place was it being a single street development as we didn’t want to be on a big estate.”
Taking advantage of the rural surroundings is an added bonus that the Moore’s love about their new home.
Robert continued: “We like the fact that the plot backs onto open fields which gives us great privacy. Plus, there’s a good distance between neighbouring homes, we have around four meters on one side and about eight meters on another, so we don’t feel cramped in.”
Like many others, Robert and his wife experienced delays due to the coronavirus lockdown which resulted in the housing market being shut down for eight weeks.
Robert commented: “Despite the pandemic our house buying process was only delayed by six weeks which was great news and I honestly believe that Peveril Homes did everything they could to reduce any delays.
“The team at Peveril Homes, especially our Sales Executive Layla and Site Manager Mick, really put the effort in and made lots of phone calls to get things moving for us.”
It’s all the extra touches that really make a difference when you’re moving home and Peveril Homes proved to be a kind and caring house builder by going above and beyond for Robert and his family.
He said: “Going through the house buying process with Peveril Homes has been a really positive experience for us. If there was ever a problem it was dealt with quickly and everything was arranged with minimum fuss keeping the whole process simple and easy.
“The people who work for Peveril Homes are very polite and friendly. For example, when my father-in-law was visiting, a worker knocked on the door to let us know he’d left his car lights on. It’s those small things that make you feel valued.”
